AUBURN COURTHOUSE

The historic Auburn Courthouse is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Auburn, and I worked to treat it with real reverence, observing every window, column, and stair carefully. The empty stone steps and the stillness of the scene give the piece a timeless quality, like a moment caught between the building's long history and the everyday life that still moves through it.

A tribute to a piece of local history, and a fitting piece for anyone with roots in Auburn or a love of historic California architecture.
